Leading with compassion is known to improve innovation, quality, collaboration, retention, adaptability to change, and engagement. Join our discussion in which we’ll examine the building blocks of compassion competence throughout our organizations, and what we can do to personally cultivate compassion in our lives.
Leah Thibodeau is the Volunteer Engagement Leader at St. Joseph Food Program, and has made the cultivation of compassion her personal mission as she serves throughout the community.
After taking a few years off from corporate human resources to raise her young children, Leah entered the non-profit world where her primary focus has been volunteer administration. She is currently the Volunteer Engagement Leader at St. Joseph Food Program. She is the Vice-President of the Wisconsin Volunteer Coordinator’s Association, and the president of its local chapter, Volunteer Action Council. Leah can engage audiences with a wide variety of compassion-related topics including self-compassion, compassion fatigue, and leading with compassion, which we’ll explore more together today.
