Wild Ones to Host Fox Cities Book Festival Authors

Wild Ones will be hosting Bill Berry author of Banning DDT – how citizen activists in Wisconsin led the way on April 22 at 3:00PM at the WILD Center, 2285 Butte des Morts Beach Rd in Neenah. Refreshingly easy to read, Bill’s book lays out the series of events that led to the hearings to ban DDT in Wisconsin. Join us in hearing him talk about Lorrie Otto and this gang of Wisconsin rebels who led the way to banning DDT nationally. Earlier in the day at noon, Bill will be speaking at the UW-Fox Valley campus.

Then in celebration of Earth Day week, folksinger Steve Hazell will be our guest at a sing-a-long at the WILD Center Council Ring on April 25^th at 6:00PM.  Plan to join us and for lots of song around the ol’ campfire.  Don’t forget the marshmallows!
