WILD Center First Thursday

The first First Thursday of the year at the WILD Center is scheduled for April 2^nd.   The public is invited to stop by Thursday, April 2^nd during the afternoon to help us start sprucing up the WILD Center in anticipation of the coming spring. Besides general cleanup, bird houses need to be cleaned and some new ones put up. There’s gravel to be put back from snowplowing and some strategically placed stones to be replaced around the gardens. There’s also trash left by the ice fishermen to be picked up.  If the snow remains gone, flower beds can begin to be tidied up. We have tools available, but plan to bring a sturdy rake and don’t forget to wear gloves and water-proof/mud-proof footwear.

At the end of the day, stay for pot luck. Bring something yummy to share, and we’ll eat and get caught up with each other’s activities around 6PM.  We’ll have beverages on hand.  The WILD Center is located at 2285 Butte des Morts Beach Rd, Neenah, Wisconsin and is the headquarters for Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, Wild Ones Fox Valley Area Chapter and Fox Cities Greenways.
